Golden River Resources has entered into an Agreement to acquire from Tahera Corporation its Slave Craton properties. As part of the transaction with Tahera, Golden River Resources will obtain Tahera's extensive geophysical and geochemical database. The package includes 177 properties and 11 Inuit Owned Land Concessions covering 471,000 acres. The primary targets include Hood River and Jericho/Contwoyto.
Previous exploration activity in the Hood River area returned surface samples to 220g/t Au and drill intercepts of 25.6g/t Au (1.54m). Whilst previous exploration activity in the Jericho/Contwoyto area recorded multiple BIF gold showings. Values to 28g/t Au, untested BIFs outlined in recent geophysical surveys.
